PROGRAMS

Area in Need Missionary House, Inc. (AINMH) has been organizing ‘Because We Care’ events since 2016 to support homeless individuals and families living in motels and hotels. These events provide essential items like food, clothing, shoes, and toiletries directly in motel parking lots. This approach allows AINMH to reach those most in need effectively. Attendees are also screened to identify additional programs that might help improve their living situations. This direct service model separates AINMH from other organizations by bringing aid directly to the people.

Because We Care Closets

The ‘Because We Care’ Closet, an initiative of Area in Need Missionary House, Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, was launched in March 2022 in LaGrange, Georgia, and expanded to Clayton County in March 2023. Our mission is to support students and teachers by providing essential items like nonperishable food, clothing, uniforms, shoes, toiletries, and school supplies. By transforming unused school spaces into resource closets, we aim to help students and teachers meet their basic needs, enhancing their ability to learn and succeed.

Mission– The primary goal of the closets is to create safe spaces in schools where students and teachers can access necessary goods. By meeting these needs, we empower them to focus on education and personal growth.
